Barefoot on Barielle Myrza's Meadow

Walking around barefoot in a meadow somehow sounds so good, which is probably why I wanted to stamp flip flops over Barielle Myrza's Meadow. I'm not even going to mention the fact that I just got the new Bundle Monster plates in the mail and wanted to try them out. I had some technical difficulties with the stamps. They didn't transfer as well as I had hoped...

I originally wanted all the flip flops to be multicolored as they are on my ring finger, however in the multicolored version it was hard to make out the pattern and too many fine details were missing. After going back to square one, I stamped them a solid color using Sally Hansen Ista-Dri in Teal-y Fast. The pattern stamped better, although some of the finer details are still missing. I'm not loving the way this turned out which is sad since I really like Myrza's Meadow and was so excited for the new BM plates...

Barielle Myrza's Meadow is a chartreuse green with small holographic glitter. The formula on this is a bit thick, but very manageable. I suppose it needs to be on the thicker side to transfer all that glitter and it does quite a good job evenly distributing it on the nail. I really like the glitter in this polish. It is not as prominent as I expected. Most of the time it appears as little pale specks, but under the right light you can see the flashes of holo. This is three coats with a top coat, which is what it took for me to reach full opacity.
